Perched on a hillside overlooking the San Gabriel Mountains, Indian Creek Residence, also known as Laxmi Niwas, meaning "house of prosperity" is guided by the ancient Hindu framework of Vastu Shastra, aligning architecture with nature through geometry, materiality and directional intent.
The design brief was to introduce the warmth of natural timber to the facade. However, California’s demanding climate called for a material that could offer durability without compromising aesthetic intent. Sculptform’s Click-on Screens in Walnut Wood Finish Aluminium provided the ideal solution, combining natural warmth with long-term performance.

A System Built for Precision and Flexibility
Sculptform’s Click-on Screens are engineered as a complete system, designed to deliver accuracy on site. At Indian Creek Residence, the 40mm x 100mm block profile was selected to achieve a clean, consistent facade while simplifying installation. The screens were set out with 76mm spacing, creating a balanced rhythm while maintaining openness for light and views.
A combination of fixed and floating clips was used in a back-mounted configuration, allowing the mounting track to be securely fixed. This ensures long-term stability without compromising alignment or finish quality.
