Announcing our Studio Collaboration with Rakumba Lighting
As the opening of our Melbourne design studio draws closer, we are working hard on developing partnerships and collaborating with other passionate architects, builders, suppliers and designers.
We are excited to announce our first collaboration in the studio, with Melbourne based lighting company Rakumba.
About Rakumba
Australia’s oldest international lighting brand, Rakumba describe themselves as a “committed group of thinkers, designers, makers, artisans and engineers” devoted to their mantra ‘Making Beauty’.
They specialise in designing and manufacturing bespoke feature lighting, delivering fantastic results on projects like the Australian Museum in Sydney and the Village Cinema Complex in Crown, Melbourne.
No stranger to collaboration, Rakumba has an ongoing partnership based around its Typography collection with Netherlands based studio Truly-Truly.

Collaboration
The partnership between Sculptform and Rakumba in the studio will provide a platform for the passion of both companies to reach the Melbourne design community.
Rakumba will provide feature lighting to the 500 square metre studio, incorporating into the architecture and interior design by Woods Bagot. Rakumba will also utilise the studio as a showroom, and host regular industry events, solidifying the Sculptform studio as a key location for Melbourne designers.

Industry Events
Starting in May this year, we will be hosting regular industry events from our design studio. Involving a range of stakeholders from all aspects of the design and construction industry, our events will include
