A Delicious Design
Like its menu, Aalia’s fit-out is purposefully unlike any other Middle Eastern restaurant in Sydney and beyond. Founded by Ibby Moubadder of ESCA Group, Aalia is one of six popular venues spread across Sydney.
The interior emulates the architecture of the iconic Seidler “mushroom” building, which the restaurant overlooks in Martin Place. Think curvaceous timber columns and ceilings with a grey concave concrete pattern for the kitchen walls – a delectable combo.
Custom Curved Timber Battens
We were delighted to be able to bring their vision for curved timber columns to life with a custom designed version of our Click-on Battens.
With steambent timber battens, crafted from Spotted Gum in a dome profilfe, the create spectacular features among the restaurants neutral colour palette.
