The facade of Ramsgate is a testament to modernist design principles, featuring an array of our cladding, screens, and battens, all finished in a stunning light bronze powder coat. This palette grants a striking visual appeal exuding sophistication and grandeur.

The building’s brutalist architectural elements are softened and refined by the sleek, linear lines of our aluminium Click-on Cladding. Our unique block profile cladding adds texture to the facade, creating contrast with the curved concrete balconies, and perfectly blending in with the battens and screens.

For the scale of this project, our block profile not only stands out as a feature, but it also streamlines the installation process while ensuring consistency across the entire facade. Our durable aluminium cladding provides structural integrity while maintaining a polished facade, remaining visually stunning and robust to the harsh Australian elements.

Sculptural Boldness Softened with Biophilic Design

A feature of Ramsgate’s design is the interplay of light and shadow with daylight shining through the spaces between our battens, screens and cladding. This thoughtful consideration of lighting adds depth and dimension, creating a living canvas that changes with the light throughout the day.

Biophilic design elements further enrich Ramsgate’s architectural narrative. Lush greenery adorns the northern-facing balconies, offering a natural counterpoint to the building’s finishes. This strategic placement of foliage not only softens the starkness of the concrete and aluminium materials but also integrates the building seamlessly with its environment, promoting a sense of tranquillity and connection to nature.

Biophilic Design BLog

Our Click-on Battens are also a feature of Ramsgate, spanning over the window for a playful integrated light display as the track is at the top and bottom of the battens with no middle track due to the durability of the aluminium. These battens not only deliver a clean aesthetic but also enhance the building’s functionality with superior durability and ease of maintenance, ensuring long-lasting satisfaction for residents and stakeholders alike.
