Marnong Estate is the largest function space in northern Melbourne, seating up to 250 people. The estate is a perfect combination of luxury and history, combining fine dining at the Bankvale Run restaurant with the historic homestead which allows patrons to step back in time.

Wood Finish Aluminium – A Perfect Timber Alternative

Marnong Estate, designed by Clarke Hopkins Clarke, uses Sculptform’s Wood Finish Aluminium battens on the incredible facade. Golden oak was used on this project, but a range of colours are available to suit any application.

A Fire Compliant Facade

Aluminium battens achieve impeccable results when it comes to fire compliance, an area where the natural properties of timber can be an issue. Real timber veneer and Wood Finish Aluminium are a perfect alternative to natural timber where a Group 1 fire rating is required.

Aluminium battens achieve a Group 1 rating under AS 3837:1998 and are deemed non-combustible under AS 1530.1-1994.
